Stopped here for lunch on Sunday while driving from Knoxville TN to home in Maryland. My son found this place and said it had a vegetarian option for me. I had the vegetable plate which comes with a homemade vegetarian patty with gravy and other sides. I have been vegetarian since the 1980s and this veggie patty was the best I have ever eaten. Several sides are Included (the waitress proactively let me know the string beans do have bacon) that are vegetarian and the entire meal was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting good German food, but especially recommend it to vegetarians who usually do not have much options when it comes to German restaurants. My son had a roast beef dish that he enjoyed immensely as well. I dont know when I'll be back this way again, but if I am, I will certainly stop for this wonderful food!
